BTSI was created in 1994 (as Bewdley Technical Services Ltd., registered in England and Wales) by professional engineers coming from experiences in thermal process engineering, such as evaporation, crystallisation, drying and distillation. in year 2000 BTSI has become a division of Intrade Italia srl, a company registered in Italy.
Founders' experience was acquired in 10 to 30 years in the specific fields, and covering different users such as table salt, petrochemicals, caustic and phosphoric acid.
Fresh resources have been recruited, and BTSI is now a company owing proprietary technologies, still small and agile but able to assemble task forces of 30 engineers through agreements with detail engineering and construction specialists – being of BTSI the responsibility of thermal engineering.
BTSI has granted license agreements to other companies on specific applications.
We are therefore able to perform (see REFERENCES) :

- Expertise on existing plants;
- Process engineering;
- Detail engineering;
- Erection supervision;
- Start-up and testing services;
- And, of course, the supply of complete units – up to turn-key.
We are not in the number of generalist engineering companies. We are a group of dedicated engineers with a large experience in thermal processes, an experience maybe reached, but not surpassed by more advertised competitors..
